I heard from Clinton, our editor that we are short of footages and the footages weren't very good and was hard to work with and we are tying very hard to salvage the clips. Sadly, hereafter closes at 6pm, so we need to work on it really hard .
But nevertheless, I learnt lots of stuffs form the module, basically multicam shooting, and I thought visual mixing was althought a stressful but interesting and fun thing to do. I'm really looking forward to my SIP after P3 and i hope i can get into some production house to do production with them.

Day 9
I had to look after the house in the morning because it was under renovation so i didn't attend the post-production briefing today.
Day 8
Today we are shooting our assignment 2. I went to school very early to collect the cameras from Derick, Kirin and Jing Yuan. Then we proceed to borrow the remaining lights and dolly tracks from the equipment store. Then we move on to the TV studio to set up the equipments and props. We took quite long to shoot can we need to be fast as Kirin's group need it for their shoot too. We managed to finish the shoot on time and return them their cameras. Ok, I've done my part as a cameraman by borrowing the cameras, did the floorplan and shoot with the cameras.
Day 7
Today, we wanted to loan out the cameras from the equipment store but when we reached there, we found out that all the cameras were loaned out by other groups. We need to shoot tomorrow as submission was very near, like in 3 days. So me and Clinton called almost all our coursemates to see if we can borrow the cameras from them a while for tomorrow. Luckily, we were able to borrow 3 cameras, from Derick, Kirin and Jing Yuan respectively. Really thank them very much. So after settling the equipments issues, we went back and do our preparation for tomorrow's shoot.
Day 6
We are now preparing for our second assignment, which was previously a bus stop theme thing, but was changed to the national pledge theme short film. So we dicussed and came out with an idea. The idea was to use food to represent and sync the National pledge and maybe make it like a commercial. I was assigned as the cameraman and i went home and did my floor plan.
Day 5
Today we are doing the real shoot for the interview assignment. I had prepared the floorplan for theset up of equipments and we took some time to set it up. We also got the talents to dress up respectively to suit the scene. When everything was ready, I went to the mixer and give commands to my 3 cameramen, withe the help of Bertrand, in setting the aperture to the same to have continuity. I think I was too nervous or what, i forgot to turn on the recorder when i started and it was very funny. But after that I clamed down and we took 2 tries of the whole interview. Bertrand commented that i was reacted fast to the switching of camera views but the shots were boring, so i keep thinking on how to improve it. But stil it was a wonderful experience to operate the visual mixer.
Day 4
Today is the trail shoot or the rehearsal of out interview shoot. althought Jac taught us everything that day, but we stil made some mistakes like connecting the wrong wires and not taping down the wires. But in the end we stil manage to set up the thing and proceed with the rehearsal. I was appointed as the visual mixer and i can say i was quite nervous when i operate the mixer the first time. I think it's quite a stressful job, like what Bertrand and Jac says, but i manage to keeo my mixing on track. After the trail mixing, i gained more confidence in doing the mixing on the actual shoot.
